Any recommendations: full time maid in Singapore?

Hello ladies, it's me again. We have been confirmed and will continue to stay in Singapore. Yay! I've already found an apartment but am now looking for a full time maid who's previously worked for an expat family in Singapore. I've got a list of criteria she should match (good English, can drive, swim, good with babies (I'm 6 months pregnant), etc.)

I'm now looking for tips on how to go about it. Should I enlist an agency and if so, which? Looking at cold storage black board has so far not worked for me...

Please let me know your experiences, warnings and recommendations. I don't really know where to start.

Thank you so much!

HI ALEXA!
give slim a call. she's done the maid search before and has used a good agency, not sure who they were. prestige i think. or maybe 1-2-1

where's your apartment btw?

Hi,

Glad to hear you got the appt sorted - where is it?

We have had our maid about 2 months now and is working ok so far. She is a new-ish maid and only worked for a Chinese family before. We did go through an agent but it was recommended by my 'Aunt' who is Singaporean. So I'm not sure how many maids with the skills you are looking for he has but it might be worth a try. His name is Mr Chan and number is 9735 1675.

i'll also keep my ear out for anyone who is leaving. but we might have to steal them first! am thinking of getting one......

Think ours is a bit bored at the moment as there isn't much for her to do in the day when we're out at work. That'll probably change next month though when the LO arrives!

Oh, thanks expectant! Will ring him. Oh, has time really flown by that quickly?

Hello egypt, we're on Bukit Timah. Will email everyone invite to house warming drinks. Yay!! Should be happening sometime end of July. It's a lovely place and I can't wait to move in. The cats will be on their way next week so keep your fingers crossed

Must call slim, yes she did mention something and hers is fab... [shuffles off to search number]
