He's going to tell me I'm being ridiculous and that we made our decision last year (not to move to Oz but to move to Wales!) but it's nagging at me that it's chance of a lifetime.

I know Oliveoil is going through the process, is there anyone else?
what made you make the final leap?

I really think you should go for it KatieRocket, I think it's always better to go out there and it not work out than not to have gone at all iykwim.

We (me, hubby and 2 kids 5y & 8m) are hopefully going to be moving to Vancouver next year via the PNP route, hubby is just waiting for a potential employer to get back to him, it has really made me realise how much I want to move over to Canada, we've wanted to move over there for years but something has always held me back, maybe I'm just scared of the unknown. I've always been close to my mum and didn't know if I could live away from her so 2 years ago my family and I moved 50 miles away from our hometown to see what it was like not having my mum on our doorstep and although it's not 1000's of miles away it has set us up well if we were to move, the first year was hard with not knowing anyone and feeling lonely, but we got through it and I hope it holds us well if we do go.

I think I've waffled on enough lol, my auntie moved to Aus about 6-7 years ago, they are back in the UK now but they do have Aus citizenship, so they can go back whenever they please.

I hate all this waiting around, I don't know if you are anything like me but once I decide on something I want it now, we are lucky as my hubby has a construction trade and I know Canada is crying out for construction workers so if this job doesn't work out I know there are plenty others xx
