Hi,
We are moving from Ireland to Singapore with our two kids in January 2025 (Y7 and Y9) and are currently considering the following schools: UWC, Dulwich College, Eton House, Nexus and Dover Court. I would have gone with Tanglin but it is full for this academic year. Given we are moving from Irish education system to UK education system I think we should move to a GCSE school as opposed to IB (no idea why I feel this but they completed most of the their primary education in UK before we moved to Ireland so I feel GCSE is an easier transition for them). I am keen to hear any thoughts on the schools listed above from anyone who has done a move with kids of a similar age? Choosing a school is proving the most difficult part of this move I have to say!! We are flexible in terms of where we live and are coming to Singapore in a couple of weeks to view all the schools and find a place to live but would love some insight if anyone has any to share!!
