Good salary in Austria?

Could anyone who has good knowledge of Austria tell me what sort of life I could lead on a salary of 60.000 euros?
I may be taking up a new job, would be living and working in Salzburg.
Would need to rent a 2-bedroom home, but I'm not sure what bills there would be with that, and I actually know nothing at all about cost of living in Austria.
Does the salary sound good?
Anything I should be aware of?

Hiya! It's been 10 years since I lived there, congratulations, Austria is beautiful and you will love it. I still go back all the time. It's a decent salary, will you be living in the Salzburg city centre or outside? Rent is high as is cots of living, food is very expensive, and the taxes are much much higher in Austria than over here. Healthcare is fantastic. It also depends if you're a single household or have any dependants.
