Which neighborhoods in Taunton are family-friendly with young children and best places to live safely?

Anywhere really. Not a lot happens.

As @planetarynoodle says v quiet. I live here but work in Bristol. I’m desperate to move. If I were you I would go for either Exeter or Bristol instead. Taunton lacks any cultural centre/life.

Try Wellington (7 miles from Taunton) small market town, really lovely.

Taunton is fine, it's safe and if you have young kids, there is plenty to do. If your kids are older, you will need to be visiting Exeter/Bristol a fair bit.
I love on the South side now. Used to live on the north side, in Rowbarton, which is a really lovely area, but terrible school catchment for secondary.
