I appreciate this is a bit of a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone living in Hong Kong has any experience of how the maintenance system works?
My ex has recently moved there and, in fairness, has continued to pay maintenance (so far!) however, this is a fairly arbitrary amount and doesn't bear any particular relation to his salary.
I'm aware of the Reciprocal Enforcement of Maintenance Order, but also understand this is a notoriously arduous process regardless of the country concerned.
If anyone has any awareness of, or information regarding how payments are calculated in HK I'd be massively grateful.
