Looking to buy an apartment in France and rent it out. Can anyone shed any light on the tax implications of renting out in France as a UK resident?

Why would you want to do this?

You would need to complete a French tax return. Which would also include a part for social contributions.

Are you talking Airbnb or residential? I've done both. Residential letting can be a nightmare for landlords here.

What do you particularly want to know?

You will need to do an annual tax return in France.
