Does anyone know if this new French qualification will be recognised by universities in the UK, for entry, as the IB is?
It's a long way off yet for DS but I checked the websites of some UK universities and overseas students have to have the IB.

Find the course, get the drop down menu for international qualifications, find France, some will list BFI as bac français international, some will go further and look at the specialités they require. Keep in mind that English specialité is not possible for BFI British/American, so there needs to be two other specialty subjects your DC likes.

If you’re thinking of IB then iGCSEs before are jolly useful especially for the sciences.

It's basically just the old bac option européen with a bit more of the second language so yes it will be accepted as the old one was.

Am slightly nervous for ds2 who will be the guinea pig year but we'll see!

@DiDonk
Good luck to your DS then!
