Aw, sorry, folks!

Just been thinking about my very succesful photographer friend, Lexi.

Just in contact with her, after nearly 6 years, and downloaded a song, and thinking of her.

Sorry.

Yes, but do they seem special to you, Califrau? Because they don't seem that amazing/ different to me. Although I do like the Gatorade/ dog one that was just on.

Oh, just taunt me, folks!

Like I can so get Gatorade powder here!

And mix it up and freeze it in my Nalgene lexan bottle filled 3/4 full and then it's all slushy and nice when I get back to the trailhead and it's hot and I'm needing something cold.

Wot are you like?

Etrade?

Those fuckers have about $9000 of my money!

Shit.

I'm losing 50 bucks, people.

My $9000 I've had to stick in for so it wouldn't be abandoned property.

They're just running down the damn clock.

Runnin' Down a Dream.

Amen, Tom Petty! You were with me, boy!

In Penitente Canyon.

One day, I'll head west and meet Califrau and take her boys to Yosemite and so show 'em how it's done .

Bears, well, they're not really good climbers.

You'll have to get califrau to put down her knitting

I forget you can't get gatorade. Sorry
I am the only person I know who doesn't like it.

Cougars, they're okay, but mostly they can't be arsed and they aren't leopards so 'RAH! Go the fuck away!'

Geez, I can't go back there. I was always too much and now I'm even worse!

oh, drain about 1/4 of it out, OverRated. and then put the rest in the freezer.

take it out.

go take a nice long hike in summer.

it'll be all slushy when you get back to the trailhead and it'll be your best dam friend.

That's as good a reason as any, califrau. DS has a fab blanket that I crocheted for him. He very proudly says "Mummy made it for you"

Cali, I taught beginning climbing for the Colorado Mountain Club for three years.

There is NO way I'd put my clients or any children in danger. No way!

It's all about being safe and having fun!

I climbed for 8 years in Colorado, although it's been a while now.

I'd have to get back into the swing of things.

And I have just LOST 50 bucks.

I cannot BELIEVE this!

OMG, I lost 50 bux on the sure thing.

It's not true.

What the h**l?

I do love climbing, but more than that, I love people enjoying it safely.

As the late, great, Alex Lowe, RIP, said, 'the best climber in the world is the one who is having the most fun.'

Sorry you died, Alex, and left your three young boys. I know your pal Conrad Anker married your wife, Jennifer, and I hope they are keeping well.

I wish we had somewhere to climb here but tis rather flat. I climbed a bit in the UK but not much. My dad is an avid climber/ pot-holer and I could really do with some practice.

Anyway, am off to bed now.

Where did Pan go? He started this thread then disappeared...
