DH is looking at opportunities in Riyadh (we have done Doha before), and recruiters are starting to send details of the packages etc.
Our Doha package was excellent, but costs were high. Eg accommodation was a huge expense.
So that we can weigh everything up it’d be really helpful to hear from anyone out there regarding monthly costs such as:
- compound accommodation for us plus two children. Doesn’t need to be a five star villa but a big apartment on a nice compound, or smaller villa on decent compound.
- school - two primary aged kids. We’d get a 50% contribution.
- rough food/supermarket budget per month?
- Medical and annual flights would be added to the package.
anything else I’ve missed?
