Hi there

I used to live in Bangkok. Left there about 4 years ago. I would recommend living in the Sathorn area, soi ngam dupli. It's a lovely area to live, many apartments and houses. I haven't got any experience of where to take kids as I didn't have any at the time I lived there. My friend, who still lives there and has a son of 3, says it's a great place to have children as there is lots to do. We were over there in April and she took us to the new Aquirium in Siam and it was fantastic for kids. I know they have lots of kids clubs there and the kinders are fantastic.

If you need any more help let me know.

Linda

hi linda!

thanks for replying!

I will go home tonight and look at where sathorn is! I was reading about this tredy area called thong lor off sukhumvit... do you know anything about this place?...

To some extent i am not too worried as I come from kuala lumpur which is only marginally less chaotic... but i must admit i am a little nervous about not speaking the language (yet..) i hope to learn it at some point, at least to speak a littlew, thought the script looks really really really daunting!!

did you encounter any problems?
