MOVING FROM UK TO FRANCE

Hello,

I'm new here and as the post says we are moving to France🇫🇷. We have one daughter who is 12.

As you can imagine I am scared and excited at the same time and have joined this group so I can meet and talk to other families who have made the move from the UK.

I'd love to find hear about your experiences - I know everyone's story is different

Is there anyone here who fits that group?x

the process is daunting (i moved from france to uk 20 years ago as a single young person, and now moving back with my British family, inc a 12 and an 8yo)

Also jumping on, as I’m interested in others’ experiences. DH is French, and our 9-year-old daughter is not bilingual but understands a lot. We’d be looking at the south west close to Toulouse or Bordeaux. I have lived in France before, but as a young single woman in Paris.

May I jump in too? I'm moving back to France with my daughters this summer - found a house to rent - got the school sorted - now need to find the best way to ship some of our stuff over!
