Living in Paris: please give me tips

I have just found out I'm going to be moving to Paris. Please, does anyone have any advice? Thank you.

Thanks, everyone. I think my French is OK, like I can always understand and everyone seems to be able to understand me, I just have a bit of a Spanish accent sometimes. And if I am typing in French then occasionally it can take me a second to think of the word / phrase if it's something more complex or unusual. When I am speaking it seems to come out more easily.

I'd be really interested in finding out nice places to eat and drink etc. which are inexpensive, or good value, also any recommendations such as gyms, hairdressers, massages...

Or places to avoid!
