Father's Day in Aus

So what have you lot got planned for the dads?

Dd1 has made something at kindy that is in dad's present bag. Dd2 did a footprint on a poem about footprints.

Popped out and got him a couple of little things and will get the traditional toblerone later.

No plans for the day yet.

We don't have any plans for the day yet. Thinking a meal perhaps, but dh undecided where to go.

Will get dd to make a card, she hasn't been at Pre Kindy for 2 weeks, so not usre if they have already done something, I suppose they might tomorrow.

Will have to have a look on Saturday for a gift of somesort.

Ds1 has made a present at kindy today. Will go in search of something tomorrow. Keep forgetting my own dad!

Oh, and plans for a 'breakfast in bed' type thing (though not in bed, too messy)and a bbq at my parents in the afternoon for my dad. Should be a nice day.

Dd and ds1 bought gifts off of the father's day stall at school.

dd got him a hanky because he has a cold all of the time (dh suffers hayfever) and ds1 got him a notepad and pen.

I will pop out with ds2 sometime in next couple of days and buy him something. Most likely shears for the garden or similar.

We also get the obligatory toblerone .

Will probably have brekky at Coffee Club and a day at the beach if this lovely weather keeps up.

Dd made dh a notpad & holder at kindy today. She also got a couple of gifts at their Father's Day stall. She got him a tape lhim have. She has measured EVERYTHING!

The stalls at schools are a fab idea! I am sure there was noting like that in UK schools. Dd feels very pleased that she brought daddy 2 gifts with her money!
