Hi, well we seem to have enough points to do it and have done a bit of research. DH has family in Toronto so we want to be within travelling distance but not too close. We have been thinking of Cobourg as a possibility. We would love to have a huge garden and live in nice neighbourhood with good schools in the area.

ANy suggestions or comments welcome please.

MILTON/GEORGETOWN is ok but is having a HUGE building of houses atm

So as it was nice 10 years ago is going to be a problem in a while if they don't build enough hospitals/schools/jobs soon

Dundas and Ancaster very nice ,good schools, pretty towns.Dundas has some fantastic older properties in the town center that I drool over when I'm there.

I think about an hour on a good day although the traffic can be busy on the QEW (main motorway).Don't quote me on that though, you'd need to check.

I suggest the following places to look at which are 2 hours or less-Markham (very pretty, may be expensive), newmarket area has lots of new housing and on the computer route. Also look at stoufville, orangeville. Also Klienberg is really lovely and a country feel to it. Good luck.
