Airbnb/serviced flat recommendations in Singapore

Can anyone recommend a website other than Airbnb for serviced flats for about 1 month in Singapore please?

The bottom of the going rate on Airbnb seems to be £2-2,500. My main priorities are toddler friendly, close to the MRT, and preferably off the main road. (I had quite a difficult time trying to fulfill the last two criteria when looking at long term lets so I doubt I'll have much more luck with a short term stay.)

Most of the most central Airbnbs are around Novena. I had a brief look around when I was last on Singapore and I wasn't too sure it was for us. Does anyone have better experiences?

Ideally we'd stay in East Coast - I really liked Tanah Merah for its colour and query - but they are fewer options there.

Singapore are a bit weird about short term lettings air b n b style. Technically it's illegal which might be why you're struggling to find anything reasonably priced.

Popular serviced apartments are;
Great World City in river valley- tons of expats round here.
Tree tops although I think it's mega expensive
Pan Pacific
Fraser Place

All quite central.
Alocassia serviced apartments less fancy but much more reasonably priced and a good location near Stevens MRT and the botanic gardens.

Are you doing a reccy or just a holiday?

We thought we would Airbnb for a month to scope out long term lets. We're staying for 3 years.

I did not know about the illegality 🤔. I certainly don't want to risk being turned away as we have a toddler.

Thanks for the links - I think even the less expensive one is too expensive for us. We may have to resort to a cheaper hotel.

I stayed in Somerset bencoolen for a stay and it was great for DS who was 18m. I remember googling serviced apartments Singapore and found some which are a minimum of one month, so worth a try?

Are your or your partners work not putting you up somewhere when you arrive?

Try value hotel Thomson it's in Novena

My company is helping me within a budget.

A hotel will be fine - I think I was hoping for a kitchen and more space for my rampaging toddler, but we'll just have to manage.

My husband sent me the link to a place we were put up in on our first stay in Singapore a few years ago. It was in a condo in the west called Heritage View , near Buona vista.
It was nice there, great pools for the little one and comfortable for a few weeks before we found our own place.

Try this place - it’s recommended on some of the FB expat pages singapore.lmbhousing.com/
