Swedes moving to York

Hi all mums! Me, my husband, a 3 year old and our two cats are moving to York! Would really love any information, great neighborhood with excellent school? Toddler group? Any others parents living there who'd like to meet when we get there? :) Thanks in advance!

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned it, but parts of York are vulnerable to flooding. Check out the flood maps here

House with a garden and transport links near a school for 5-700 pcm is going to be very difficult to find here but good luck! You may be lucky

Cloudymelonade - Yeah it seems like it, we are looking around and could go up a bit in our budget. We're hoping to find something between 7-800. Atm we're more concerened about brexit thought, we thought they would delay it but it seems unlikely now. We'll see 🤷‍♀️
