I don't live in Abu Dhabi but posting here in the hope of a reply.
Am travelling to Abu Dhabi next week at short notice. Am confused about entering the country with prescription medicines despite reading the MOH website. I have emailed them for clarification but replies take 5 days.
I'm on Levothyroxine and Laxido.
I have a copy prescription but GP surgery says it's too short notice to provide a letter confirming my medication is for health use (that I'm not sure I need anyway as I cannot find my meds on the MOH list).
I'm now considering travelling with no medicine and buying it in Abu Dhabi as googling suggests others in the same situation have done this. Any one able to confirm if Levothyroxine is available over the counter in Abu Dhabi as alot of what i have read refers to Dubai.
Any help appreciated.
