Hi Ladies...
Have any of you moved abroad to Amsterdam (within the last 5 years)? Any tips on areas? My husband will work at WTC in Zuid so looking in that area or immediately south of VondelPark.
Education:
I'm panicking about schools. We have a 3.5 year old (4yrs old in Feb 2019) and an 18 month old. We prefer they attend a Montessori and looking at AMS in Willem. Any comments about the AMS? We don't want to go int'l school or private, just Montessori. Any feedback would be mega appreciated.
Forums:
I've joined all the Amsterdam Mummy FB pages (just waiting for approval) and I've looked into the "I am Amsterdam" page, plus "I am expatNL", etc.
Neighborhoods:
Any particularly lovely streets around Zuid or in the 1077/1078/1071/1075/1076 postcodes?
Estate Agent recommendations?
Cautions:
Anything we should be careful or cautious about? We depart in 2-3 months (Jan/Feb'19) so this is a fast move for me. I'm continually reading all the threads on here relating to Amsterdam that I can, but totally appreciate any additional info you're wiling to provide/give.
