English language books with cheap international delivery charges

Can anyone help with a company which offers cheap English language books with ok international delivery charges? I used to order a lot of books from the Book People but have just looked at placing an order for delivery to Germany and the postage would have come to pretty much the same as the price of the books. Thanks in advance if anyone has any info.

I think Book Depository has free worldwide delivery

Amazon.de have books in Englisch 😃

Book Depository has free delivery, but there are two things to consider:

  • delivery takes flipping ages from them. Like weeks and weeks and weeks.
  • even with the delivery charges, it can still be cheaper to get from Amazon UK or US

I usually bulk-buy and I create identical orders in both places and just order the one that comes in cheaper overall.

Amazon.de took weeks to deliver the books/ games we ordered. We were staying in France at the time. I don't know if they are usually faster or if not being in Germany ourselves made a difference.

I get a lot of books from amazon.de from marketplace sellers - second hand usually. They are always in excellent condition and come quickly and aren't very expensive.

Book depository has free delivery but book price differs according to location, so it is not exactly free, better to say, delivery fees are included in the book price.
