hello Albert, how are things? How is the new house?
DId you know Carmenere is in Brazil on business now.

not quite what you are looking for though

Hi Albert, Im here, leaving tommorow though I´m in Natal. It is absolutely gorgeous, I´m loving it. Where are you?

Albert · 01/05/2007 02:28

Oooo, a visitor! And I missed you! Sorry, been out of action for a few days as DS has been ill - great timing, it started on DH's 40th birthday and holiday plans for a long weekend were cancelled. We should still be away now However, DS is almost better which is the main thing I guess.
Carmenere, what were you doing in Natal? I'm in Brasilia, rather bizarre place really, totally isolated in the middle of the country, purpose built capital (bit like Canberra) Great place to live for a few years though and Suzy, our house is fantastic. Still not totally furnished but hey, so what! We have a massive room without a stick of furniture in it, known to our friends as the ballroom.
Thank God for the internet, I didn't think I'd find a MN local but you never can tell.

Hi Albert
How's things? Ds getting better?

I keep meaning to look up Brasilia on google earth, it's meant to be a town planner's dream and looks amazing from the air.

I had a nightmare that I was stuck in Canberra last week. These purpose built administrative cities are freaky, from a European perspective, but then not if you're Belgian as they have The Hague. I 'm rambling, sorry.

DS is much better thanks. He went back to school today and survived fine but I'm glad we have a public holiday tomorrow so he can take it easy. Brasilia is quite a wacky place yeah, have to say it beats Canberra hands down on wierdness. Who on earth would build a city shaped like an airplane? Or is it a bird? If you look on google earth you can see my house apparently!
