Bras
Make up
Dish cloths (from Asda)
Tins tuna and mackerel
Nail clippers/scissors/hair scissors
Birthday cards/blank cards
Liquid hair spray/hair styling product

Washing up bowl
Anti bac wipes
Toilet blocks
Plugs for the sinks
Horseradish/tartar/wholegrain mustard
Branston

Coffee
Spanish paprika
Plastic cooking utensils
Plastic measuring jugs
Birkinstocks (wil not pay £230 on Amazon!!)
Other decent shoes that do not disintegrate

Cheap linen trousers

Then all the usual suspects of crisps, chocolate, bacon, sausage, club biscuits (or really any biscuits!) , and all the other goodies I cannot get!

Sure there will be more to add..........

Bath plugs were on my first shopping list too. I highly recommend the universal ones. Something like this for the bathrooms. Might not work as well in a kitchen sink where you are more likely to knock it.
Hope you've got some good luggage allowances. Lots of that sounds heavy.

Coconut are you in Kenya

coconutwater1 · 12/06/2017 06:01

Mrs. No I am in India, in a part of the country where its not a tourist area/major city and only a few scattered ex-pats.

I will have to be very selective with my wish list due to the extortionate charges on domestic flights for excess luggage.

Coconut, I also thought you might be in India but I plumped for Kenya.

About 15 years ago my friend had a posting in India like yours. Her husband was RR and they lived in the back of beyond. Her shopping was also quite extensive.

Mrs, yes some things are very expensive I was quite shocked at the price of some items even local ones, but hey ho just have to get on with it.

The Milton tabs will be on my list, I bought some what was supposed to be sterilising solution at an eye-watering price, useless.

But I have found Triumph bras her to be quite good.

Paxo for my sins added to the list
