A Long Shot - But Does Anyone Want to Do a permanent House-Exchange from Essex to Australia?

My 81 year old grandmother wants to move home from Australia.

She lives in Mooloolaba in the Maroochydore district of the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. Very nice area. Good schools and medical centre. Close to shops.

She has a 4 bedroom bungalow with large kitchen, utility room, family room, lounge, dining area, ensuite to bedroom one, family bathroom, double garage and built in swimming pool in back garden. Quiet suburb near the river, great for kids.

She's looking for a 3 bed house or bungalow in mid-essex area preferably (needle in a haystack I know, but she's 81. It's too hard to try and explain to her!)

The asking price is $525,000

So in short, if there is anyone in the mid-essex area who is getting ready to emigrate and is particularly interested in the Sunshine coast. Let me know

go to www.britishexpats.com go to australian forum you never know you might get some response from there.

Thanks Cori. For some obscure reason, she thinks it'll be easier to swap houses than to sell hers and then buy one here! (She wants to live near me, and I live in a tiny town in the back of beyond, so not much chance of a house exchange there!)

there is someone who is looking at the sunshine coast to move with family - not sure if they are after a rental or sale. Will try and find the thread. Possibly not a houseswap to be had though.

Perhaps she could rent it to them with the option to buy iyswim.
