Getting excited now!

Congratulations, DH had a telephone interview this week - it was a very short short-list! Only 2 on it! It is based down in Lower Hutt nr Wellington and I am very excited!

What have you had to do in regard to the move? I need info and lots of it!! have you sold your house here, are you renting out there, how long does the furniture take to get there and how expensive is the removel costs?

It's all the other stuff that is starting to worry me if he gets this job! I know I desperatly want to go it will br great for the kids but I don't know yet how to work the logistics! and what do you do with 3 small children on the flight???

schools - where to get info, what are good and bad areas to live? what is the alternative to Sainsburys???

Please pass on all your experiences!

Oooops! sorry this is just our interview and fact finding holiday . DH has interviews lined up and then it will be all systems go if it all goes to plan.

No, not yet.

Well hopefully we can tell you all about it when we come back. I presume if we go for it we will sell the house and go, but if my DH got a job quickly then he would probably have to go and I would follow after selling house. It is so complicated I am just going to go with the flow as it is impossible to plan the unplanned!

When does your DH hear about his job?

Next week I think - they just need to speak with one more referee - they are actually telephoning and speaking to them in addition to emailing written references - it can only be a good sign???!!!!!

I think we will rent out there and rent our house here until we get full residency - just in case else I doubt we could afford to move back to the UK!
