Very early days but can anyone recommend good resources for researching this option?

Been to KL for a few days around 8 years ago, child free and easy going. I think I'll be a lot less easy going nowadays with two littles (7 and 3) in tow!

We moved to KL in February and it's brilliant. Lots of families here so you'll soon fit in. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask and I'll try to help. I'm sure some others will be along soon to offer advice also.

There are many Facebook groups but these are the ones I've found most useful.

• KL expats for sale, advice and recommendations (Kuala Lumpur)
• Expats in/around Mont Kiara - don't worry about it being a mont kiara site, they still have loads of advice covering KL.
• IBU family resource group

Thanks! That's really helpful.

I've lived in KL for 12 years, and I'm a teacher as well as a Governor for one of the big international schools, so I'm clued up on schools in KL if you need advice.

Happy to answer questions in anything though. I moved when the DDs were 9,6 and 2.
They're now 22, 18 and 15 - where did that go thenShock
It's a good place to live though
