Mumsnet thinkers, I need advice.
I don't know if I am unable to settle down or if I have good reasons to not know where I want to live.
I lived 8 years in London, met my Swedish partner there. We rented a flat for 1.5year. I got fed up with London and because my fiance wanted to sell his flat in Sweden so I insisted to move there to give it a go. My feeling was that we would have a healthier lifestyle in Sweden and would need to deal with only 2 languages if we were going to have kids.
Life is def healthier but we are lacking excitement, network and friends. It seems that it's damaging our relationship. The spark and spice is gone nowadays.
I always ponder the idea of moving back to London but he doesn't trust me anymore with a moving choice. Now I imagine London as a dangerous place, almost like I have never lived there (because of newspapers?). I feel crap on the language level : mother-tongue in stand by, English doesn't evolve, Swedish makes me feel like I am 5 yrs old. I miss being closer to friends and family but I also know that Sweden has less problems than London atm.
Should I work with what I have? How can I evaluate if I am being unreasonable?
