Hi all, I've just moved with my family to the Brussels area. Would love to connect with any other expat ladies to get some 'insider knowledge.' Hints and tips also welcome! Thank you :-)

Great! I'm in Kraainem, very close to Diabolo school.

I am in the Tervuren area. You'll probably get mote traffic next week when the international schools are back.

What did you want to know?

There are loads of Brussels Mumsnetters. Even been a good few meet ups over the last few years and I made some great friends. I'm sadly no longer there but there's a fantastic private facebook group called Benelux Mumsnetters. I'm sure Longtime/Portofino/Natation (who between them know the answer to all things belgian!) will see this thread and can add you if you pm them. Or if you've any specific questions ask away here, but this board is quite slow, I only noticed this as it popped up in Active Conv.

How old are your DC's - you could join the BCT - Brussels Childbirth Trust. They have loads of meet ups, nights out etc.

There's the British and Commonwealth women's club. I think there's also an American Women's club
