Sending a rug from the UK to Europe - how?

We are about to move house and 'need' a new rug - after much searching I've found one in the UK but the store won't deliver overseas. If I get it sent to my parents house in the UK, how can I get it sent over to The Netherlands? Have been googling freight transport companies but when I do an online quote it says size prohibitive (tried estimated measurements and weight rolled up etc). Any pointers re which companies/delivery methods I can try?

Knowing shipping costs via removers (you might want to try an international removal company in your parents' town), it's probably cheaper to drive over and collect it.....
