Hi
There will be a Halloween Party next Sat (28/10). It isn't free (adults 10e and kids 5-12 5e-including food and transport)but all proceeds are going to the local childrens home 'Ciudad de los Ni?os' . It's at a beautiful old country house called Cortijo El Molino just outside Estepona. Fancy Dress is obligatory and there will be prizes for the best costume. There will be games (apple bobbing etc)and competitions for both adults and children. It's also a chance to meet new people in the area (it'll be a mixed crowd but mainly expats I think). It's 7.30 til late (with children's activities finishing at 9).
If you are interested or know anyone who might be, please send me an email. My hotmail address is anoulamou (hotmail dot com)
Hope to see some of you there. I'll be the pregnant nun!

Pouring! but not cold at all. To get to work today I had to wear one of those raincoats that zips up and down so I could get my bump in but was still really hot when I arrived. Oh and there are lots of desperate mosquitoes around, trying to get as much blood as poss before the season ends. Leave it a week and so and it'll be sunny again!

I feel sorry for the poor buggers who have come on holiday this week. it's deffo rainy season, when I first moved here it rained for 6 solid weeks, I wondered what I had done.

Yeah, I'm new to this part of Spain but have just been told by a neighbour that it shouldn't really be THIS warm, THIS wet and have THIS number of mozzies around at this time of year-more tropical than European.
SO much rain last nite, in fact, that our roof was leaking all over-bet the beach is a bit whiffy today!

Check the weather before you come, Witch. That said, I've known it to be 25degrees on xmas day in Barcelona, which isn't bad.
