Anyone here? :) I'm homesick and want to get to know someone else from Scandinavia!

Have you tried your local Scando churches? I had tonnes of Scando friends in London and some really rated the churches (especially at this time of year!).

This part of MN is for posters living overseas ie not in Britain, rather than non-British people living in Britain. So post away but not sure it will help you meet Scando mums in the UK!

Hey there, yes, not sure you will get much traffic here... Maybe worth creating a new "local" chapter and be the scandinavian tzarina?

The best way to find other Scandinavian parents is by hanging out in a park during a rain storm. This is of course a generalisation, but if a child is dressed appropriately for cold and wet weather, the child will usually have a connection to the (real) North!

I'm a Swede by the way!

Yes Dyslexic! As my Swedish friend always said 'No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing'.

I got my polarn y pyret love from my Swedish friends too...
