I hear Netflix is available in France now but according to an (American) review, its not as good as the original.

Anyone got it? Can you give me some examples of the shows that are on? My parents live in Normandy and am wondering about getting them an Apple TV for Christmas so they can watch Netflix, but would like to see if its worth it first.

THanks

It's okay but limited. Haven't managed to get onto US netflix yet, Hola freaked my laptop out for some reason, so can't compare....but there's no Gilmore Girls, for one. Can you imagine.

There is Orange is the New Black (which is worth all the hype). There's some documentaries in French, English and German. There's a good section of French original films. Sorry I'm a bit useless, thinking off the top of my head.....the series aren't great. Think all the Netflix originals are on there. There's Modern Family.....

I'm glad I've got it, but only bearing in mind that they're sure to add more stuff soon.

I've got it. It's great! Loads of kids stuff, breaking bad and loads of films. You get a free months trial so I think it's well worth getting them it. If they don't like it you can cancel. If they do its only 7.99euros a month - a lot cheaper than canal +
