Sending clothes for newborn in NZ - need advice on warmth etc pls

Feeling unable to recall the temp in NZ or how much clothing little babies wear so need some help pls

My cousin's baby is due late Oct and I want to send some clothes
Will full babygrows be too warm?

My friend is m oving over there in December and she said that it will feel like spring. I would say babygros would be a good present.

Full babygros will be fine - October can still be v cold in NZ. Depends a little on whether it's north or south (north being warmer) but remember that most houses don't have central heating so they get colder at night anyway. Temps are hugely variable, just like the UK, so anything that is sold here is probably fine there are well.

Yup, babygros fine.

We're in Wellington and it's fairly cool at night even in midsummer. Can be quite chilly in October.
