Oh and an advent breast pump as they are much cheaper there than in Spain apparently!

Yum - can I come and stay and help you eat your Galaxy chocolate?
Have a nice time.
We went to Gibraltar for a day when we came over to Spain. It was really weird being back in "England" again.

JackieNo · 03/09/2006 10:12

Have fun, Lucy. Is it the Avent Isis you're after? If you'd like a second hand one, I've got one you're welcome to ffp - just cat me.

lucy5 · 03/09/2006 10:16

Thanks for the offer Jackie, i'm after an electric one as I didn't get on very well with a manual lasttime.

Sparkler, you are welcome to share my chocolate if there is any left after I cross the border

JackieNo · 03/09/2006 10:17

No worries.

lucy5 · 03/09/2006 10:58

Radox too.

You can tell it's too hot to go out today and I'm bored out of my mind

it's such great fun! last time we did it, we filled the car up too much, then spent ages queuing to get over the border, and poor car conked out about 3 miles into Spain! Disaster! at least we had plenty of mince pies to keep us going.

lucy5 · 03/09/2006 21:49

OOh mince pies, i wonder if it's too early for them

Lucy, can I post a Red Cross parcel to you?
What can't you get, even in Gibraltar??

Gingerbear · 03/09/2006 21:53

PS there is a great English bakery in Javea that does proper granary bread (a bit far for a shopping trip though for you?)

ocd · 03/09/2006 21:53

i used to live there

Gingerbear · 03/09/2006 21:56

When I worked in Malaysia, the boys used to do a ' Guinness Run' to a supermarket in Kuala Lumpur - a journey of 4 hours and 270km.

lucy5 · 03/09/2006 21:57

One thing I really miss is Cauldron marinated tofu but it might be a bit soggy to post and chocolate eclairs!

Cod, I remembered that you used to live in Gib, which is strange because I can't even remember what happened yesterday at the moment

OP posts:
lucy5 · 03/09/2006 21:58

Hahaha Gingerbear. I'd do that for a proper Kebab! Do you think it would be ok in the post?

costababe · 03/09/2006 21:59

Hi any of u in Spain, and if so where? Im in the Tarragona region and new to this site.

Gingerbear · 03/09/2006 22:03

Do you mean an 'elephant's leg' Saturday night chucking out time kebab?
In which case, I really don't think it will get through Spanish Customs.
Tis against the trade in prohibited substances

Gingerbear · 03/09/2006 22:04

I think she is 'nesting'.
When is that baby due again?

lucy5 · 03/09/2006 22:28

Yes a lovely juicy elephants leg with lashings of chilli sauce and yoghurt!

I'm on the Costa Del Sol Costababe.

Baby not due to bloomimg December!

Congrats on pregnancy Lucy5. I similarly made the dash to M+S for a bra when I was pregnant here. it's great now they have expanded it and even a Next now too! It's terrible the things you get excited about. Looks like our shopping list compare well - but no mags?? Can't live without them - even with the small mark up.
Have you seen that Vertbaudet are up and running here now? My catalogue arrived today.

lucy5 · 19/09/2006 08:21

Hehehehehe, I buy mags mostly rubbish like heat and ok
