Most wanted occupations in Oz and Canada?

Where would I look to find out what is the most wante occupation in Canada and Australia?
For example, do they want more carpenters or joiners in aus?

Is this possible? Or is it just a case of looking through wanted occupations?

I suppose looking through the wanted ads in the location you are heading to would be a start- are you planning to train for whatever turns out to be the most wanted occupation in the hope of emigrating?

There might be some information here.

Stephen, it's for DP really. We're trying to decide between Canada and Australia. He's looking at training for more qualifications but wants to train in the more 'wanted' of his options. If that makes sense?!
