We are moving to Paris in the summer and my two children will start at BSP in September. We are also bringing dog and pony! Does anyone know any good english speaking stables in areas around BSP where we could keep pony?

Try using google, "centre équestre XXX" and you'll get a map of places.

Here's one in Chatou. You'll find plenty around Maisons-Lafitte up the road.

This is my area!!! I have a horse here in Maisons-Laffitte, brought him from the UK and over the past eight years have really "done the rounds" of stables etc.

First qn is will your pony need turnout? If so, Maisons-Laffitte is out of the qn, as there is no turnout (with the exception of one place that says it has "paddocks" -- each no bigger than a stable, the horse can do no more than stand around in the sand... plus they are rotated through the day because there is not one paddock per horse...)

My horse is now in a lovely place but it's miles from me -- I only get out three times a week but I sleep so much better!

Do pm me to tell me more about your pony and I will be very happy to try and advise. There are many ways to go about this and each of them will entail compromise.
