Shipping times US to UK

Does anyone have a rough idea how long it takes for household goods to go from US (Chicago) to UK (London)? I know the movers will tell me soon but I'm just trying to plan things out in my head.... We have actually done this move before but it was 11 years ago so I've forgotten ;) thanks.

4-6 weeks as they usually go by ship

Ours was 4 weeks, the movers said plan on between 4 - 6 weeks.

Thanks. 4-6 weeks sounds about right. Gives me something to work in before the movers come. Groan - now I have to start sorting out lots of crap!
