Brussels has 300 primary schools, all the ones with small class sizes I would avoid if possible, a small class anyway doesn't necessarily mean better, the skill of a teacher and the ability of pupils is far more consequential.

Choose your school according to where work is.

Jolie Bois has a good mix of nationalities?

natation · 15/11/2012 07:00

Every single school in my commune has a good mix of nationalities, 25% of the Brussels population registered has non Belgian nationality and that doesn't include those on special status such as NATO, EU commission, diplomatic.

It's very hard to recommend a school, without a bit more information :-)

work location is pretty important too - being able to get to work quickly and back to school in the event of being called by school. I'd look at ways to possible schools first.

Look at this map with all public French schools on it and phone them up. Ask how many children are in the class if there are places, if less than 20 in the class, be a bit wary. Remember once in a cycle P1.P2, P3.P4, P5.P6 you cannot easily change school.
