Parcel from UK to Oz vanished, customs?

Sorry this is going to seem like a silly question but I ordered some maternity clothes from Isabella Oliver and Seraphine in the sales. They were delivered to my PIL in the UK and they sent them on to me here in Sydney. That was about 3 weeks ago and there's no sign of the package. It was only jeans and a few t-shirts so not loads of money down the drain but still a bit annoying.

Someone mentioned that customs might have stopped the package, has anyone had anything similar? Will I get them eventually?

Never with small packages , customs did make us pay for our Christmas tree to be irradiated because it had pictures of pine cones on the box !!

3 weeks is about the average it takes for stuff to get to us. We just got a parcel from NI to Perth and I think the MIL sent it more then 3 weeks ago

If they sent it sea post it might be a while yet. We had several parcels we had given up hope on that turned up eventually - think the longest was about 2 months.

Sometimes stuff takes AGES.

Also I didn't get a parcel a couple of weeks ago from BigW because the postman didn't leave a card so it just went back to the sorting office. You could check there.

Ha! I hope I'm still pregnant when it arrives then! Thanks for the replies, I didnt realise it could take that long. So far I've only ever sent stuff from here to the UK.

Thanks savoy I'll try the sorting office as well, although my postman never has to leave a card, he just throws parcels over the front wall, even when I'm in! I got the fright of my life when one bounced off the bedroom window!
