hello, i recall from my holiday in italy last year that 2 june was a bank holiday, and everything was closed (it was in our village anyway...).
i thought we'd been so clever this year because half term is a week later, so we travel from france overnight on the 2 june and do not arrive in italy till the third. hooray.
or not. will there be a bank holiday in lieu on the 4th? and what will this mean for me? will the usual monday morning market not be on (ie cancelled for that week)? we will be in northwest tuscany if that will make a difference.
