E European MNers - have you defrosted yet?

I'm in Moldova and we're still totally frozen up. No running water, deep snow outside and today there's a really icy wind. On Tuesday it got above freezing but not enough to defrost the pipes.

Just wanted to moan really! Tell me how it is where you are...

Switzerland has been defrosting for the last two weeks. Heck my windows are open today! Only the snowplough mounds of snow remain. But DH has just informed me we are to expect snow next week...mmmm.

We've still got a fair covering of snow and more is forecast in the next few days. Still no water and I am mightily sick of bringing it in from the well!

Yesterday was officially the first day of spring here

Hungary - it's been lovely and warm the past few days. We had a load of snow on Tuesday but then it was warm on Wednesday and the snow all melted. Forecast to be about 10 today! Hope it warms up for you soon!
