I am looking to move to SoF- Grasse, Valbonne, Nice etc for a few months. I have been searching online for days now for rental properties but can only seem to find holiday rental websites. This is obviously a lot more expensive as it is done by a week by week basis, sometimes a month and it's hard to find a property for a long period without other bookings. So where do I look?!

Thanks

The most popular off the top of my head is Se loger. Would link but in the app.

Nice Matin or Google "immobilier" for whichever town.

You can also try www.paruvendu.fr and www.pap.fr on top of the suggestions above.

Good luck with your search.

Look on estate agents sites, they usually have rentals, too. You have to give 3 months notice of leaving, but now the deposit is reduced to 1 month. How about trying www.fnaim.fr which the site for all agents registered with fnaim. If it's off season, holiday rentals will often do a deal for a guaranteed rental of several months.

Also, you could try contacting the mairies of the towns/villages where you are looking and asking if there are any houses to rent.

Try Le Bon Coin. It has both professional and particulier ads and seems to be one of the most popular websites for advertising stuff.

try www.holidaylettings.co.uk, as far as I can see it is "particulier to particulier", you can search by town / village, good luck, try to get there for April/May/June, that's the best time to be there!
