Hi my good friend has recently emigrated.
I have some papers to send her that she left and i was wndering what i could put in a package as a nice suprise. So i need some ideas of things she wouldnt be able to get. What can i send re food stuffs?

You should come and visit Thumb and you can pop up to my local IGA. It has a British section and they sell bisto, hellmans, green & blacks, yorkie bars, frys chocolate cream etc. etc. Tbh I am not so bothered that I am willing to pay the extortionate prices but it's nice to know I could have it if I wanted to Grin

Mmmm ... G&B choc ice cream. Yum. I am Aussie and don't so much mind the Sara Lea chocolate ice cream but having lived in London a few years back, I agree there is no comparing to the G&B's. Wish you hadn't reminded me Wink

Do what I did - buy a proper ice-cream maker and use G&B's, sorted!

My only full day off at the moment is Monday Thumb. We should sort a day when the weather gets better - my kids are all school age so the easiest thing with your little one would probably be a day we can swim.
