I have been here for lunch a couple of times - you can eat outside if it's nice. It's 5 mins walk from Montgomery just behind the Cinquentaire arch. Wide choice of dishes.

Sorry, should have added that I can't make this Friday, but if I could be counted in for the next one that'd be great! There are quite a few places around Merode/ Montgomery...

Portofino · 03/10/2011 18:45

OK - suggest a good date and meeting place and we'll do the next one up that way. There are others that can't do Thu/Fri too......

In fact I think there are such a lot of us now that no way will everyone be able to make it each time. I'm not the boss Grin
Please feel to suggest days/places and see who can make it....

Any Monday. Not bothered where in Brussels, so long as it is less than 25 euro per head, Montgomery / Schuman would be great though. I know a nice restaurant around there... it's the EU Commission one on the ground floor of the Berlaymont, but unfortunately I don't think my friend would want me to invite a group of women to come and dine with him!!! It's SOOOO cheap in there though.

frazzlenz · 03/10/2011 19:39

Perhaps we should stick with the original idea of this Friday and then schedule another one in a couple of weeks for a different day. We will never get everyone to the same event.

Portofino · 03/10/2011 19:44

Oh Friday is still on. This is discussion about the next one....

Oooh but Porto, you ARE the boss. We all rely on your organisational skills. Where are we going on Friday by the way, and at what time? I can get to anywhere there's a metro.

frazzlenz · 03/10/2011 21:46

oh good, I thought it was up in the air again :)

Tapas

Fanny Thai?

Vietnamese? Any suggestions?

Who is still coming....?

OP posts:
Longtime · 05/10/2011 11:22

Either for me as long as I can find a non-meat dish.

I'm still coming :)

NichyNoo · 05/10/2011 12:44

I'm still coming!

Fanny Thai is nice...been there a few times.

How will the newcomers recognise everyone? Will you all be wearing a rose in your lapel and holding a copy of the The Times? Grin

Portofino · 05/10/2011 13:00

Surely a fruit shoot and a copy of the Daily Mail would be more appropriate ? Grin There is a pic of me on my profile I think.....

frazzlenz · 06/10/2011 13:27

so do we have a time and place for tomorrow?

Portofino · 06/10/2011 13:54

Meet outside O'Reilly's Pub by the Bourse at 12.30? Shall we try the Fanny Thai? I am guessing there should be plenty of non-meat options in Thai food?

Is that 5 of us? Me, Longtime, CPrunner, NichyNoo and Frazzlenz? Did I miss anyone?
