Who fancies a meet up? It's school hols for us at the moment, but how about when the kids go back to school?

We need a location too - we have had Ikea and I think some of you met up at Go Wild in Strathpine too, should we go for more central Brisvegas this time?

Who fancies a coffee? or maybe something stronger??

Had a ver nice time this morning - great see you again Gotobed and to meet you Naetha!

Ifink and Chloe (and anyone else lurking out there) we wondered about an evening meet up before Christmas, perhaps a drink or two but no gin for me thanks, I have a tendency to start singing sans dc. What do you think?

chloeb2002 · 11/10/2011 21:24

Yes please... apologies,... ( thinking of amazing excuse) a herd of wilderbeast destroyed my brain.. ( I forgot) old age maybe creeping up on me... please lets do it again! ( alcohol sounds good...)

ifink · 12/10/2011 01:56

oooh a wine and gin night! great idea.....maybe not both at same time (then again this emigrating malarky is pretty stressful...)

MrsDreadfullyMorbidMausoleum · 12/10/2011 09:22

Definitely not at the same time. Did that at the beginning of June.

Apparently, there was singing. And laying on the verge looking at the stars. And being asked by the police if everything was ok.

Apparently.

So, drunken, but not that drunken? Are we going to pretend we are young groovy chicks and go out in the city?

CocoKev · 12/10/2011 11:07

Oh no can't believe I missed your meet up. DS (10 months) and I are always up for some coffee and a chat. Well I'm always up for coffee and he's always up for eating woodchips at playgrounds...
We've washed up in Mitchelton, out by Ferny Grove. We're liking it so far, and are always up for a trip to Southbank (aren't the libraries great?) or anywhere really. Love the lack of traffic compared with London- seems to take 20 minutes to get everywhere in Brisbane!

MrsDreadfullyMorbidMausoleum · 12/10/2011 11:21

Wow Coco - that makes 3 of us in a really small area! I'm in the Gap and Naetha is in Ferny Hills.

I'll pm you my number, was planning to meet up with Naetha next week anyway, perhaps you'd like to come too?

CocoKev · 12/10/2011 11:37

Yes thank you- I'd love to! Will look out for the pm.

gotobedsleepyhead · 12/10/2011 14:36

Who needs to pretend? We ARE groovy young chicks! City sounds great. Mmmm wine..... And not having to run off after dd every 5 minutes, (although if minty has a few too many I feel i may have to do that anyway Grin)

Naetha · 18/10/2011 00:35

Just thought I'd post that I'm meeting a new Brisbane mum tomorrow (Wednesday) at New Farm Park at 10am if anyone fancies coming along? I'll see if I can fix some balloons to the push chair or something recognisable :)
