PARIS MEET UP w/c 16 May

Calling all missing Paris Mumsnetters - Winnybella, Thereistheball, Flyingcloud, Teafortwo & all those on the other thread!

A few of us are thinking of meeting up w/c 16 May at a cafe at Place Pereire at 2100 for a drink. Please sign in below if you are interested and say which dates you cannot do. I don't think I can do the 19th.

I'm very sorry, but I don't think I'll make it. I have a horrid cold and a 4000 words essay that's due on Tuesday which I have procrastinated over for ages.

Sorry I can't make it tonight. 9pm is a bit late for me, I would have to drive as the trains aren't (according to DH) safe at that time, and a late one on a Monday might just kill me for the rest of the week.

Hope you all have lots of fun though. And please PM me if you come to Chantilly for a day out, it's really lovely and I can recommend it as a nice place to visit (especially for any horse mad dds, les Grands Ecuries are pretty spectacular).

Everyone is dropping like flies! I have failed to post on this thread yet but am planning on joining the depleted group, hope that's ok. Well, if Brioche can find the cafe we'll be joining you!

I'll be there. I shall wear very high heeled tan sandals, my toe nails are red and I shall wear a yellow Céline bag!

I will not be wearing very high sandals, my toenails will not be red and my bag will be a nondescript brown.....will just look out for you Bonsoir! (especially in the foot area).

I am en route, in a blue dress. Let us not talk of my toenails.

Excellent. I am coming shortly with Rosietoes. I will be wearing what DH calls my German Lesbian Sandals (less said about toenails the better, I think), and also have a nondescript brown bag. So like Bonsoir's polar opposite, really. If you're taking your yellow Celine bag, do I need my sunglasses?

Brioche has my mobile phone number. So that will be me, Rosietoes, Bonsoir, Thereistheball, Briochedoree and Dilbertina? Not bad for a Monday night. Will brush hair and get going.

We had a lovely time, everyone got very drunk....Bonsoir kept dancing on the table, Brioche, MrsS and rosietoes kept doing the conga around the bar and Thereistheball snogged the waiter.

DISCLAIMER: some of the above may not be true......

We were very restrained, it was lovely to meet everyone, Bonsoir's toenails were indeed a sight to behold and the bag was lovely. Hope you got home safe and sound Thereistheball!
