Anyone fancy it? I didn't make the last one...

Well, I come into Saint Lazare but can also change to RER A or line 1 at La Defense. Can also drive in but that tends to be a bit of a downer on the drinking part ;)

Ooooh, this is coming together. I will drive in, so not too fussed where, as long as it's not Parc de Vincennes :)

How about one of the cafes at Pereire? Near metro station, so easy for those coming in from St Lazare. Vinci parking nearby if you can't find anywhere on the street and within walking distance from me

Or one of the cafes near Monceau, although a lot of them seem to shut early.

Bonsoir · 04/05/2011 08:54

A café on place Péreire after 21h00 suits me down to the ground!

MrsSchadenfreude · 04/05/2011 09:20

Excellent - I thought it might Wink
Les Hortensias?

Bonsoir, I was going to email you - DD2 has hurt her wrist (2 days ago, jumping off a climbing frame at school that she wasn't supposed to be on), school nurse just rang to say it is still swollen and she thinks it should be x-rayed. Do I need to take her to my doctor first? (I am inclined to think that she is malingering as I looked at it this morning and it looked OK to me and she hasn't been complaining of pain, but don't want to be an unfit mummy.)

Bonsoir · 04/05/2011 10:05

Depends on your insurance policy but yes, normally you need a prescription from your GP or paediatrician before taking her for an x-ray.

MrsSchadenfreude · 04/05/2011 10:16

Thanks! I'll call him now.

BriocheDoree · 04/05/2011 16:25

Place Pereire works fine for me. MrsS, hope your daughter hasn't broken anything!

Place Pereire is perfect.

What day?

MrsSchadenfreude · 04/05/2011 23:13

Oooh, ooh! Back at work tomorrow and will check diary for next week or so. I think at 9.00 I can be pretty flexible - what days can people absolutely not do?

Took DD2 to Necker and they were a) quick and b) efficient. It was a bad sprain and she has to have her wrist in a splint for 10 days, and no sport or swimming.

Bonsoir · 05/05/2011 08:46

I cannot do Tuesday 17 May as I already have a dinner that night. Other evenings still open.

BriocheDoree · 05/05/2011 09:37

Next week is not good for me - have something on Weds 11 and Fri 13th so will probably be playing catch up on the other evenings (studying at the moment). Oh, and not 26th May as that's DD's birthday! 19th May would really suit me.

rosietoes · 05/05/2011 22:41

OOoo! It's my birthday on Sunday, so I'd love to go for a serious Anglo grown-up drinks thing!
Shall be spending my birthday with DH's French buddies who could care less.
I'm in 17th so my vote is for local!

teafortwo · 07/05/2011 00:01

19th May is fine with me. Smile
