Possums are cute until they live in your loft space, scuttle about all night, bring in prey to eat that also scuttles and squeals as it is being eaten. You then get in the big gun exterminators and traps and cheer as you count the dead ones. 
The boys can't believe it when you get the odd news flash from Oz when the city has come to a standstill so a possum can be rescued and released. Here they are quite literally road kill...............
