How to find a job in Public Health research in Netherlands

Would be grateful for any ideas. I am not sure which organisations to contact. Does local government have any public health responsibilities in the Netherlands like here in the UK? How do I find companies/consultancies in Public Health in Netherlands? I have googled but did not get far or should I use a different search engine for Dutch things?

No idea - but I would love to find a Public Health research job in the UK!

In the UK it is now all going to change because of the new role for GPs. So I expect that in the UK not many jobs will be advertised until it is sorted out how much money the GPs get and how much money the councils get for Public Health. In the past, large councils had their own public health department, which included research. So, I expect that by the end of this year new positions will arise in the UK. However, we are looking to relocate to the Netherlands and I have no clue how it works there.

So far as I know research if public comes under het Rijk - on the assumption from your user name you speak Dutch you should be able to find more info here: www.werkenbijhetrijk.nl/

If you don't speak Dutch let me know if you need help, but I have to say if you don't I think a public health position is unlikely.

If you don't mind me asking where are you planning on relocating to?
