Expat experience of Mumbai, anyone?

Likely to be going to Mumbai short-term (few months) from UK. Accommodation is sorted, but wondered if anyone could share tips on good things to do while there.

Will be with DD, 3yo and DH working fairly antisocial hours. Any likely areas to meet others in similar situations? Any experience of childcare out there? Things to do / things to avoid like hell?

I don't know Mumbai at all, but wanted to say how exciting! I'm sure there will be lots of other expats - maybe try the American Womens (even if you are not American) & have a look on the forums on IndiaMike. Very jealous!
