GAY/LESBIAN PARENTS IN SOUTH LONDON

Hiya. I am a gay mum of two aged 8 and 4. I would love to meet other gay parents, make friends, swap stories and a chance for the children to make friends as well.
I live in the Lewisham area.

I dont know if you are aware but there is a large south east london lesbian mums group.

We havent managed to go for ages and we are in Kent but you might be interested.

Just to let you know that the South London Lesbian Mums Group is still running and always open for new members. The website is up there but not much info on it at the moment and that which is up there I realise is out of date so will address that urgently! We meet on the 2nd Sunday of every month in East Dulwich. I co-ordinate the group so please do contact me if you want info, venue etc - [email protected]

Hi All,

My girlfriend and I are HOPING to be mums one day in the not too distant future - and we are currently in the process of looking at all our options and trying to make that decision on how best to go about starting a family.....but the whole issue is frying our brains a little and we keep on having the same debates....it would be great to talk to other gay mums and hear their stories and experiences in the hope that it may start clear our heads a little about the whole thing!
SO, if any of you would be interested in meeting up for a chat one day over a coffee, that would be fantastic - we live in East Dulwich.

Firstly CONGRATULATIONS! Secondly, yes the group is still running. Our next meeting is on Sunday 13 June. Email me on [email protected] and I'll add you to our mailing list and can give more info.

Tricky77 - we welcome people who are thinking of having a baby to come along and have a chat. Do email me if you want to be added to the mailing list. We have a picnic in July - usually in Dulwich Park and you might want to pop along to that and have a chat with some of us.

Me and my partner have just moved to the warlingham area (croydon/south london) We dont really know anyone here and we have a 5 year old son. He doesnt have any friends out side of school. He used to be bullied in his old school for having two mums! (amazing how horrible kids can be at 5!) Anyway we would really like to meet up with any other parents in the same situation.

Hi... Im a lesbian mum living in south-east. Would be nice to meet other lesbian mums or gay dads. I have a four year old and didn't realise how out of place I would feel amoungst the straight parents. Be nice to meet and share.
